The Brandon Lee Spight Memorial Foundation (BLSMF) was established exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. It originated to honor the legacy of a young man who fell ill with an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), at the age of 17. After a brief illness, this rare disease took his life. He was in his senior year at the University of Detroit Jesuit High School & Academy. Brandon was looking forward to a promising college experience that would ultimately lead to a successful career.
Brandon was known for his golf swing and his competitiveness.
He was an accomplished student, athlete, artist, and community volunteer. Brandon was a standout academically and athletically, had a wide circle of friends, and had a magnetic personality.

About the Book
