The Brandon Lee Spight Memorial Foundation (BLSMF) was established exclusively for charitable and educational purposes. It originated to honor the legacy of a young man who fell ill with an Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM), at the age of 17. After a brief illness, this rare disease took his life. He was in his senior year at the University of Detroit Jesuit High School & Academy. Brandon was looking forward to a promising college experience that would ultimately lead to a successful career.

He was an accomplished student, athlete, artist, and community volunteer. Brandon was a standout academically and athletically, had a wide circle of friends, and had a magnetic personality.

The proceeds from the sale of this book will be designated to the Brandon Lee Spight Memorial Foundation (BLSMF). The foundation shall continue to support students with the partially endowed scholarship ($50,000) created in Brandon's name at the University of Detroit Jesuit High School & Academy. Our goal is to fully endow the scholarship to $250,000.
